Traditonal Luxury Hotels in London

London is synonymous with tradition and history and it’s the same story with its luxury hotels. The Langham, opened in 1865, was the very first grand hotel in Europe and really set the standard for years to come - stunning architecture, sweeping staircases, lavish ballrooms and opulent bedrooms. Combine that with immaculate service and these 'old girls' are still blowing people away today.

The Art deco gem that is Claridge’s Hotel really makes guests feel like they have been transported to the swinging 1920's. The Dorchester hotel, whose name is now almost a superlative in its self, emanates aristocracy like no other. On the other end of the size scale, tradition is the Milestones cornerstone, where you can even find a suit of armour in the Prince of Wales suite and a bar that was once royal stables. Of them all, though, it is the Ritz that elucidates extravagance with no comparison; with its gold leaf decorated rooms and dining room that has been descried as the most fabulous in London.
