Helene Darroze

The fantastically talented two Michelin-starred Hélène Darroze joined the Connaught shortly after its refurbishment, bringing with her classic French flavours from the south-west of France. The room is a classical affair with graceful mahogany panels lining its walls.

Espelette

The curvaceous window lined Espelette conservatory is endlessly beautiful. Its floor to ceiling windows overlook Tadao Ando's 'Silence' water feature providing a setting of absolute tranquillity. Inside, the room is finished with rich colours and soft textures making it a fine place to enjoy afternoon tea.

Coburg Bar

At the front of the hotel is the sumptuous Coburg bar. It is an intimate and charismatic venue where guests can relax in privacy. Light bites are served accompanied by fine vintage drinks.

Connaught Bar

One of the most highly acclaimed bars in London, the Connaught Bar takes 1920’s art deco style and turns it into a 21st century masterpiece. Even its textured walls are glamorous - they sparkle with inlayed platinum leaf.

Aman Spa and Swimming Pool

The spa at the Connaught is Aman's first outside of one of its own resorts. It transports guests from the hotels traditional English character to an oasis of Asian-styled tranquillity. Also available to guests is a stunning swimming pool and crystal steam room.

The Connaught offers guests a choice of traditional or contemporary rooms - each one designed by world famous designers such as David Collins, Guy Oliver and India Mahdavi.

Superior Queen Room | Butler | 21sqm 

These 21sqm rooms offer state-of-the-art luxury within their traditional environment. Each one is elegantly finished with soft colours and contrasting dark wood period furniture. Marble bathrooms are, of course, a given.

Superior King Room | Twin or King | Connecting | Butler | 29sqm

With 29sqm of space the superior king rooms come in either  a highly contemporary style with clean lines, modern art and Toto toilets or a more classic style with thick lined curtains and period features. For business travellers the rooms also offer a desk. 24/7 butler service is on offer too. 

Deluxe King Room | Twin or King | Connecting | Butler | 33sqm

With over 33sqm of space the deluxe kings are the largest rooms in the hotel. Like the superior kings they also offer guests a choice of style whether it be classic or contemporary.

40sqm of contemporary luxury awaits guests at the Connaught's junior suites. Each feature large windows, walnut flooring and bespoke furniture to create a calming environment in which guests can enjoy the extensive seating area.

Deluxe Junior Suites | Twin or King | Connecting | Butler | 45sqm

Offering two varieties; classic or contemporary, these deluxe junior suites have 45sqm of space - perfect for a longer stay. The majority enjoy either a large bay window or floor to ceiling windows.

Carlos Suites | 1 or 2 Bedroom | Butler | 56sqm

The Carlos Suites come in either a grandiose traditional or cutting-edge contemporary design. The traditional suites spare no expense with their neo classical ceilings, heavily draped curtains and antiqued furniture. Their modern counterparts meanwhile boast divine parquet flooring, mirrors, modern art and soft mood lighting. Both feature separate living and sleeping areas.

Details aren't lost in the 63sqm Grosvenor Suites. Everything from the furniture to artwork, wall plaster to soap holders have been individually designed and sourced for the rooms. They provide grand traditional accommodation for all their patrons. In addition they have the benefit of a guest bathroom.

World-renowned designer Guy Oliver left his mark on all 72sqm of each Connaught Suite. The suites are opulently finished from top to bottom, taking guests back to an Edwardian era when the word austerity did not exist. Contemporary twists such as the gilt mirrors add drama to these beautiful suites. 

Sutherland Suite | 1 or 2 Bedroom | Butler | 89sqm

Also designed by Guy Oliver are the elegant Sutherland Suites, which could belong in a royal palace. They feature exceptional 30ft long drawing rooms that adorn exquisite art on their walls. They also house a divine oval dining table that can host eight, whilst the suites concert quality Steinway piano can entertain many more.

Signature Suites | 1 or 2 Bedroom | Butler | Roof Terrace*

The Connaught houses seven individually themed and completely unforgettable signature suites. The largest, at 285sqm, is The Apartment designed by David Collins. Its luxurious blue hues and art deco details make the suite stand out as one of London's finest. The Apartment suite also has a beautiful roof terrace with views of Mayfair. The Library Suite, designed by Michael Blair, is just as unique. It features a huge collection of books and curiosities, enough to keep guests occupied for any length of stay. The Terrace Suite meanwhile boasts one of the largest roof terraces in Mayfair and is a real asset to the hotel and indeed London.

 

 

Group Layout Options

The Connaught makes for an excellent venue to host groups securely. The hotel’s top floor can be exclusively hired and sealed off by room keys to make an exceptional space with eight bedrooms. A host of private dining venues can be privately hired as well as the hotel's new bar extension and ballroom. Furthermore the spa can be exclusively used for more sensitive guests.
