St. James Hotel and Club -  Boutique Luxury Hotel in London

One of the few remaining independent luxury hotels, steeped in British societal history and brimming with character

St James' Hotel and Club is an icon of London's social history, initially a gentlemen's club in the early 1900s St James' Club grew in fame attracting some of Britain's (and the world's!) most esteemed clientele from the likes of Winston Churchill to Liza Minelli and Sir Michael Caine. The go-to spot for London's elite, the club was transformed into the now St James' Hotel and Club in 2008 and continues to shine with spectacular service, signature style and Michelin star restaurant.

Since first opening in the early 1900s until its reopening in 2008 the St James has always been a hive of social activity and its award winning restaurant and ever buzzing bar are testament to just that.

 

Seven Park Place 

Gaining a Michelin star just one year after opening, this French restaurant headed by Chef William Drabble serves a seasonal menu with an emphasis on British produce. An intimate space with rich colours and natural fabrics creating the perfect backdrop to a seamless dining experience. 

 

William Bar and Bistro

A sophisticated bar transporting guests back to the golden age of hoteliers. Great for a coffee or cocktails this chic bar serves sliders and snacks to accompany drinks or the bistro menu created by WIlliam Drabble is also available for a relaxed meal.

 

The Rooms and Suites

A recent renovation has seen each of St James' Hotel's 60 rooms and suites become the perfect blend of exquisite design and maximum functionality. 

 

Superior Room | 20 sqm

Great for business travellers, rooms are equipped with the latest technology to ensure a relaxing and restful stay, this includes an iPod docking station and free wifi to unwind after a day of meetings. 

 

Deluxe Room | 25 sqm

A little more room suiting guests who plan to do some shopping. Murano glass chandeliers compliment the neutral silk walls ensuring rooms have plenty of natural light.

 

Executive Room | 30 sqm

A fantastic option for the executive traveller, executive rooms often feature balconies for great views of London below and like all rooms at St James' come with Hypnos mattresses - regarded as being the most comfortable in the world.

 

Junior Suite | 35 sqm

Featuring a King size bed in an open plan setting, the suite is inkeeping with the hotel's stylish elegance. Benefiting from a separate seating area with plush armchairs and plenty of natural light, the Junior Suite ensures a more than comfortable stay. The bathroom is finished with black and cream polished stone and includes a bath side television.

 

Deluxe Suite | 40 sqm

Found on the higher floors of the hotel with views of London's charming rooftops, Deluxe Suites are similar to Juniors but are a little more spacious and have a more distinct living and sleeping area. The monochrome stone bathrooms have sumptuous walk in showers and separate bathtubs with bath-side televisions for the ultimate in relaxation.

 

Terrace Suite | 57 sqm

A signature suite of St James', as its name suggests has a private terrace as well as separate living and sleeping area. Especially exquisite throughout the summer months the terrace is also rather enchanting when admiring the London sunrise on a crisp winter morning.

 

Westminster Suite | 45 sqm | Rooftop Terrace | 50 sqm

A generous suite with an equally generous terrace offering unrivalled panoramas of London, access to the Westminster is via a private lift ensuring minimum disturbance and maximum privacy. The Westminster can be connected to the St James' Suite for the ultimate luxury penthouse. 

 

St James' Suite | 71 sqm

An option for the discerning traveller, this King bedded suite is furnished with valuable antiques and carefully selected art for the Rosenstein collection. For those mixing business with pleasure, the suite comes with a multi-media PC with data-links for phone and video conferencing as well as two large televisions and a Bose hi-fi system. 

 

The Penthouse | 7th Floor | Rooftop Terrace | 50sqm

A real jewel in St James' Hotel's crown, the entire 7th floor is dedicated to pure unrivalled luxury. Also accessed by private lift, the two bedroom penthouse boasts two living areas (one with dining table) as well as two full marble bathrooms with separate walk in showers and bathside televisions. The hotel's signature bespoke black lacquered furniture and Murano glass chandeliers are continued throughout the apartment. A defining feature of the Penthouse is it's large roof terrace making it a real powerhouse among London's hotels.
