Berners Tavern

10 Berners Street, W1T 3NP

This spectacular bar come restaurant by Jason Atherton is one of the grandest in London. Set inside the brand new EDITION hotel its bronze colour walls are covered head to toe with period paintings and stunning LED back lit bar rises 5m to the vast, vaulted and immaculately detailed ceilings.

Radio Bar

ME Hotel, 336-337 The Strand, WC2R 1HA

Radio Bar, interestingly, earns its name because building that hosts it was where the first BBC programming was broadcast back in 1922. It is one of the largest roof terraces in the west end, with enough space for a number of sofas that make the ideal place to enjoy views from Big Ben to Canary Wharf.

Artesian

The Langham, 1c Portland Place Regent St, W1B 1JA

The Artesian bar can officially lay claim to be the 'World’s best bar' having being voted it by Drinks international in 2012. The bar specialises in rum based cocktails and there are over 100 to try. Despite the sheer number, the Artesian won’t be found lacking in attention to detail, even the ice cubes have a special formula to keep them cooler for longer.

The Blue Bar

The Berkeley, Wilton Place, SW1X 7RL

A new twist on an old room. World famous designer David Collins reinvigorated Edward Lutyens original room by lathering it in blue, and to good effect too. Everything from the ornate plaster work to the leather bound menus are blue. It is very much a place to see and be seen.

Connaught Bar

The Connaught, Carlos Place, W1K 2AL

One of the most highly acclaimed bars in London, The Connaught Bar takes 1920s art deco style and turns it into a 21st century masterpiece. Even its textured walls are glamorous - they sparkle with inlayed platinum leaf. Our concierge service recommends ordering a martini. Its bespoke constituents arrive in splendour upon a trolley along with a top mixologist, allowing you to tailor your drink to your own taste.
